PANE IN THE GLASS PRODUCTIONS

 THE SOUTH TEXAS SNOWMAN

There lives a misplaced snowman
In South Texas by the coast.
Cold-hearted to the core;
Doesn’t care anymore.

His bed is made of icebergs;
His sheets are frosty cold;
And yet he sleeps without regret,
For someone he might yet have met.

For breakfast he eats ice cubes,
For lunch he eats the same,
For dinner he just goes without;
He knows what life is all about.

Disappointment through the years,
Made his eyes of coal.
His broomstick arms do not fold,
From having no one else to hold.

The Texas sun that shines so hot,
Can’t melt the snowman down.
The rays are blocked out by his hate,
And loneliness will be his fate.
